about

Back in twenty ought five, during the writing what would snowball into the Kyrie Eleison project, this song about the audacious confession of a smitten lad’s obsession over his lady friend was first penned under the name “valentine”. Quite quickly, the lead vocal, guitar, bass, and drum tracks were recorded in The Mustard Room. All but the original lead vocal remain. In the late Summer of twenty ten, this lost dog was being groomed for the fourth installment of The Mustard Room’s Cyber 45 series.

The track was revisited with a re-recorded lead vocal, a few doo-wop harmonies, some nasty Hammond noodling, a second guitar and a few tinny notes from a toy xylophone to boot. Now, she’s a full-fledged monster looking for a face to feed upon. Yikes.
